Hardware/Quality Implementation Engineer
This position is responsible for developing and managing technical release documentation; test reports/processes, metric reports as related to product defects and assembly build, test documentation for manufacturing of NASCENT products based on engineering design specifications. The candidate will maintain all quality process documentation and audit manufacturing/engineering/field services for adherence to defined processes and develop and maintain quality performance metrics. As Hardware Quality Implementation Engineer, you will coordinate between manufacturing and engineering to evaluate root cause and define corrective action when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing, implementing, and maintaining a quality management system (QMS).
- Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process / product related concerns and defects.
- Validation and implementation of test equipment requirements and processes.
- Responsible for continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality management system, such as 5S, Kaizen LEAN methods, etc.
- Interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field Services to ensure transfer of production methods for new products are in accordance with design specifications.
- Support and inspect products and processes to ensure they comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
- Conduct/Complete audits, including creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions based on findings.
- Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
- Performing quality inspections/audits for customer installations; both for internal field service technicians and third party contractors.
- Continuously improving QA shipping/receiving inspection process and procedures.
- Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
- Manage release of engineering technical documentation to internal and external customers.
- Hardware/software testing analysis for compatibility (i.e. – hardware Product Solution Testing).
- Preparation and presentation of QA reports.

Requires Skills & Knowledge:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Industrial or Electrical Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the field of Quality Engineering & Process Control.
- 3 - 5 Years’ Experience with Product Development and New Product Introduction.
- Strong focus on quality and proven ability to apply a high degree of integrity.
- ISO 9000/9001 qualification experience helpful.
- Must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment.
- Experience in establishing quality control systems starting from development stages to delivery of products including Return Materials Authorization (RMA).
- Work experience in electro-mechanical assemblies, understanding of electro-mechanical drawings, schematics, and development of manufacturing processes.
- Strong technical and quality background.
- Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) Analysis.
- Address non-conformances within the department. Leads self-check audits and provides immediate support for regulatory audits.
- Often referred to as “competencies”, leadership attributes, skills, abilities or behaviors that may be enterprise, functional or job specific.
- Process Owner / reviewer and/or approver on applicable controlled documents.
- Lead and participate in site quality and process improvement initiatives, and project teams.
- Seek out improved EDMS systems for future use.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Operations.
