In 2024, Buckeye Mountain, a Lynxis company, partnered with CSX to support several major technology initiatives designed to strengthen mobility, efficiency, and operational reliability across the rail network.
Enterprise-Wide iPad Deployment
Our team collaborated closely with the CSX End User Services group to successfully deploy over 60,000 iPads across multiple operating divisions. This large-scale rollout ensured that frontline employees received modern, dependable mobile tools to enhance communication, productivity, and real-time decision-making. From logistics and configuration to deployment support, Buckeye Mountain delivered a seamless execution for one of the largest device rollouts in the industry.
We also supported the CSX Intermodal team in modernizing the technology installed in hostlers, cranes, and reach stackers at terminals across the network. By upgrading onboard hardware and optimizing equipment connectivity, we helped improve operator performance, enhance reliability, and ensure that CSX’s mission-critical equipment is equipped for today’s operational demands.
